This policy covers this website (tiktok.budgts.com) and the Budgts app that posts Budgts videos to TikTok. The Budgts budgeting app at budgts.com has its own privacy policy.

Who uses the app
Only Budgts, LLC uses the app, to post videos to its own TikTok account. The public can't sign in to it, and it doesn't post for anyone else.
What we collect
When the Budgts TikTok account signs in, TikTok gives the app:
- an access token and a refresh token, which let the app upload videos to that account;
- the account's TikTok user ID (TikTok calls it an open ID) and the list of permissions it granted;
- the account's basic profile (display name and profile picture), which the app reads only to check it's signed in to the right account. It doesn't keep a copy.
The app doesn't collect anything about other TikTok users: no viewers, followers, comments, messages or videos.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking.
How we use it
Only to upload Budgts' own videos to the Budgts account's TikTok inbox as drafts, and to confirm that each upload worked. We don't sell this information, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Where it's kept
- GitHub keeps the tokens as encrypted secrets in a private repository and runs the app on a schedule.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
Each of them handles data under its own privacy terms. Nobody else receives it.
Security
The tokens are stored only as encrypted secrets, are hidden from the app's logs, and are sent to TikTok only over encrypted connections.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep the tokens while the Budgts account stays connected. TikTok ends an access token after 24 hours and a refresh token after a year.
To disconnect, open Settings and privacy in TikTok, find the apps connected to the account under Security and permissions, and remove Budgts. The tokens stop working right away. To have our copies deleted too, write to support@budgts.com and we'll delete them within 30 days.
Children
The app and this website aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
